The Good Life
I suppose there are few things in life more enjoyable than living on a farm in rural Pennsylvania, surrounded by the animals you love, the plants you grow, and the flowers that make living prettier, and doing what you love to do – paint.
Terri Palmer does just that.
I live my life happily and I paint as I live
In a self-restored farmhouse outside Bangor, Pennsylvania, Terri lives with her husband, drawing inspiration for her eclectic menagerie of paintings from the animals and plants that enliven her days and nights, remember the cows and horses and pigs and roosters are sometimes restless.
On weekend trips to antique shops, flea markets, auctions, and backyard sales, she picks up shutters and doors and what-nots that become the canvases she paints on. Red Horse Signs has taken many of her most popular depictions and reproduced these on distressed wood, giving Terri’s art a rustic and vintage look, fresh from the farm.
